JOANA

1. Sham(noun): something that is not genuine; a pretence.

Sham(verb): pretend

An Example: The election was a complete sham.

2. Sinew(noun): strong tissue that connects a muscle to a bone.

An Example: Rope is the sinew of every sailing vessel.

3. Singe(verb): burn something slightly.

An Example: A smell of singed feathers and burning rubber filled the air.
