FIX YOUR GAZE (Issue 4)

Belinda Bansah

One time in our lives, we all planned to do something and ended up doing another. You entered your room to pick up an item and you totally forgot whatever it is that you went in for. This is because you have got something else on your mind which was a distraction.

Proverbs 4:25, “Let your eyes look straight ahead, And your eyelids look right before you.” (NKJV) “Let your eyes look directly forward, and your gaze be straight before you.” (RSV). In addition, proverbs says we should also take heed to the path of our feet and when we do these, our paths will be sure.

Friends, families, society and even our own lifestyles can be distractions to us. Now, you need to fix your GAZE on that which you need to attain and so must your feet go in that direction. Let your lifestyle be in line with your goals. You cannot plant cassava and harvest corn.

May the LORD fix our gaze and direct our paths for a glorious end.

Amen.
